This comic has a very consistent colour scheme, good panel variety, and tells a timeless story of capitalism which all tax paying peoples ever in the history of humanity can relate to. Good work making this a very interesting read!

Adventures by Ciaran, Drew & Connor
The name of this character is a perfect exaggeration of the portrayed era, and its inspiration pulled from current comedy makes this comic a unique and entertaining piece of historical fiction. The story development is complex and complete. Great work!

A Walk in the Park by Denicia, Jana & Sara
Coloured from start to finish, this comic is a wonderful piece to look at as a whole. The use of two full pages as one panel (typically called a spread in comic arts terms) is clever and brings a nice rhythm to the flow of the comic. Very nice!

Untitled by Dylan, Malakai & Damian
The different techniques used in this comic clearly separate different time frames and act as solid chapter changes in the storytelling format. The attention to details is delightful though it was likely the reason for the lack of a clear ending. Still, wonderful to look at as a whole. Definitely enjoyable! Good work!

This comic is wonderful. It has eliminated all useless details and kept to one simple plot line, making it easy to understand, easy to read, and fun to look at. This proves the fact that details are not always necessary to make a  solid story. Good job!

King George! by Jahsia & Rageshan
It's clear that the creators of this comic had a very good time. The creative drive is palpable and leads to the readers feeling much the same while they discover the story for themselves. The style is consistent, and every artistic choice has been made with intent. This is masterful work. Amazing!

This comic makes me speechless. The mark-making style creates such strong emotion, which suits the story perfectly. The use of the pen creates shape, volume, texture, and the simple use of red enhances the scenes just right. It shows an intuition for creation and I'm glad I had the opportunity to see this. Absolutely fantastic!

Life of Samuel du Champlain by Myra, Leon & Curtis
This comic has a nice variety of panels while still using very consistent characters and objects, and the colours help tie it all together nicely. There's a really good flow to it, and the text helps set that pace perfectly. Plus, the blend of historical and more modern elements give it a whimsical tone that's very enjoyable and fun!

Fille du Roi by Leila, Tianna, Kathleen & Liberty
The drawings in this comic are absolutely gorgeous. The blend of historical illustrations and comic style characters make it a very interesting and unique thing. Text is not very present, making it more of a discovery than a read, which leaves room for interpretation and creativity on the part of the reader. Wonderful work!

The Battle: Our Story by Natasha & Jasmine
This comic has a great cover page: the text and variety of line is so well balanced! The same can be said of the inside of the comic. There's no need for details as simply drawn elements avoid confusion and therefore help  tell a clear story, which is always a comic artists' top priority. Good work!

Time to Sabotage! by Ronnell & Lucas
The colour scheme and the style make it a really strong comic. ​The scenery is extremely detailed and the text is easy to read. I love the fact that we jump straight into the story and let the actions of the characters guide us along rather than being told the story straight up from a narrator's point of view. Very well done!

The Cupcake Stand by William & Pranav
This comic is hilarious. The idea is clever and is a very unique take on Canadian historical fiction. The end product is a solid comic with consistency in style, a variety of panels, and a great script. It's obvious this was a fun project for this team, and we feel it as we read through it. Absolutely awesome! 

The Story of Ulf by Elliot
This comic has such wonderful consistency. The pencils are dark, solid, and the smudging and tiniest bit of color really make this comic very unique. Though the characters are simply drawn, the variety of panels keep it interesting and make it easy to follow the story. Very cool!

This comic reads very much like an American-style comic superhero comic. It's packed with action, easy to read despite the lack of text, and the panels give a solid rhythm to it. The chosen angles and zooms make it look like a series of stills from a movie and give it such a cinematic feel! Good job!

This comic has the most complex panel layout I've seen, and though it seems packed with action, it's also clearly defined enough that readability is not affected. The characters might be simply drawn, but they stand out from the rest of the scenery, which is complex, giving it a really interesting contrast. Good stuff!!!

The Story of The Great Hunter by William
I was incredibly impressed at how this comic came together seemingly by itself. I'm not certain any of my teaching was necessary as the creativity and story came alive by itself and created this masterpiece. The Choice in color and character's features make this a really solid work of art and point out a solid unique style that I can't wait to see more of!
